The Hysteria Channel aka History Channel invented this stuff. Nostradamus predicted the end of the world in the year 3797. The mayans believed that Dec 21 2012 was the start of their new baktun not the end of the world. The book of revelation and I ching dont actually point to an exact date. This is all crap. The people who say its the end of the world want either fame and/or money.
