A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Moon is a 2001 documentary written, produced, and directed by Nashville, Tennessee-based filmmaker and investigative journalist Bart Winfield Sibrel, a critic of the United States space program and proponent of the theory that the six Apollo lunar landing missions between 1969 and 1972 were hoaxes perpetrated by the US Government.

Great documentary. I just can’t believe that these scientific facts like electro magnetic field which is impossible to penetrate by man etc. haven’t been considered by the rest of the world in those days!? If that is correct than there is something wrong with civilisation. Any way USA sucks, which is sad, because it’s used to be a great nation. But imperialistic desires of their corporative leaders, politicians and money masters, destroyed them as a nation to the lowest levels of ignorance, consumption, greed, and destruction!

pat mahoney – that website is really very dubious in its thoroughness in its supposed “proof”. it all reads extremely loose and contains way too many hard-lined vernacular like “case closed” and “its that simple” to be credited as a legitimately researched and executed case study against the accusation that we did not land on the moon. nothing is ever “that simple.”

Just to correct a few misunderstandings:
All the footage the world saw of astronauts on the moon were faked/filmed on stage.
But we did go to the moon. During 1969, before and after. But when we did, we were protected by the ET craft along the way.
The only reason they faked the whole footage etc. was because of the ruins, bases and other various buildings that were already on the moon that they didn’t want us to see.
Funny thing is, that we actually went there during the 1950′s with the Russians. Built our own base etc. In collaboration with the ET’s who were already there.
Another interesting trivia about the moon: It’s artificial. It was brought here many millennia ago by other races.

I agree with Nailer, I have read about it. Though I did not knew US went with russians.
Personally I do not believe in ET, world elite/illuminati perhaps ?
I remember watching some photos of mars and someone drew a lines which indicated some kind of structures (I mean unnatural formation/90 degrees angles).
Anyway I am not surprised, perhaps they are not advanced ET, but somewhat similar to us.

WOW people!? ET’s, aliens, structures on moon, com on!!! Until yesterday we didn’t know how to get electrical power to our homes, or what the hell is radiation, or does atoms acctualy exits, or what are the atoms, etc, etc !!! And all of these discoveries were work of great, persistent scientist, no aliens included, only human work and human brain. And there are who knows how many great discoverys in front of us. And yes, it is quite strange that Russians didn’t say anything about hoax, so probbably it wasn’t one. And if it was, than great studio work! Nothing change in the universe, people remains lost spicies with bad attitude problem, and continue to make eachother lives miserable because of oil, money, power…no purpose to life than understentig of eachother and admiting that apsolut truth is still unknown, and probbably will allways be. We need society based on mind, not on fears, religion, ideologies etc.

This film is terribly made. There are some interesting arguments, certainly that footage of the earth where they switch the light on inside the spaceship is interesting and needs explaining, however they totally shoot themselves in the foot by using so much inapt imagery. The footage at the beginning is irrelevant because they have launched rockets that have worked, so showing loads blowing up is ridiculous. Coupled with the repeated images of war and famine is utterly stupid – particularly the footage of the famine in Ethiopia in the 1980s.
This film uses all the tools of the propagandist – it is inept, inapt, misleading and untruthful – and is therefore propaganda in and of itself. Learn how to make a film without using selective editing and misleading commentary.

hey buddy, they put these images of famine across the nasa footage to show how dumb is our civilisation, instead of resolving our problems here, we put the money that could save lots and lots of problems in a space mission that is apparently a bigfuckin hoax.. i mean common man the flag is floating in the wind!!!! you don’t need to be einstein to understand that this footage is hollywood bullshit

Interesting. LARGE pinch of salt required. How do we really know what to believe in this world? The only thing you ever REALLY know or believe is what you see with your OWN EYES. Everything else cannot be proved. Believe what you want and leave it at that, I say. All the rest is entertainment, although of course there ain’t nothing wrong with that a wop bop a loo bop a wop bam boom
